About

Cole Evelev is an experienced Creative Director, Video Director, Cinematographer, DJ, and Curator born and raised in NYC.
His interest in the anatomy of urban landscapes has led him
to document the intimate, performative, and explicit moments that
incessantly take place. Curious and enthralled by the forbidden
dimensions of city life, Evelev's projects are immersive, requiring
him to grow familiar with the communities and subjects
he captures—and that by virtue, keeps his approach
energetic and intuitive to his practice.

Presently, he is the Director of Creative Development and Programming for Video at GQ, but his fascination with fashion, food, music, and skateboarding has led him to features in the New York Times, Dust In Grooves, Complex and the creation of projects for Vogue, Bon Appétit, and NTS Radio.
